It really isn't that complicated.
But it's amazing how simple minds
can intentionally complicate things.

People don't think that there is
racism because the specifics of racism
were not laid bare for so long.

People maintained their prejudices
in quiet, safe places where they
were never called out on their beliefs.\

Now that the realness has hit the
streets and the airwaves, people are
uncomfortable about appearances.

Exposure is upsetting to many who
were comfortable in the dark.
